Northwest to Near East is a collection of stories, columns, grievances and discoveries accrued over the course of my journey from Seattle to Istanbul.

Over the course of time this site should provide resources and a first hand account of Istanbul for expats living in the city, people considering moving to the city, or anyone else interested in an American eye on Istanbul.
